Cardiovascular Specialists of New England (CSNE) is on a mission to redefine heart health and shift the paradigm, improving and elevating the lives of patients with cardiovascular conditions in New Hampshire. We use our advanced skills and technology to assess, diagnose, and treat general and complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, heart valve disease, arrhythmia, and coronary artery disease.

About the Job

 

At our rapidly growing practice, Cardiovascular Specialists of New England, we are seeking a highly motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team! As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for helping the physician deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care during procedures in Nuclear Cardiology. Works collaboratively with the RNs and MDs to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care. You will report directly to the VP of Operations.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Performs Nuclear stress testing, calibrations and quality control procedures.

     

  • Organizes the nuclear stress schedule. Responsible for maintenance and ordering of nuclear equipment and supplies.

     

  • Produces accurate floods on cameras and diagnostic images for interpretation.

     

  • Participates in updating and developing all policies and procedures for nuclear cardiology testing. Participates in the orientation of new employees as needed.

     

  • Maintains all isotope records and properly disposes radioactive waste.

     

  • Participates in cleaning the area before, during and after procedures. Ensures area is safe. Reports abnormal calibrations or images.

     

  • Assist with nuclear accreditation.

     

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Engages as needed with the Practice Leadership to help develop and modify efficiencies as needed.

What you’ll need:

 

  • 1-2 years' experience is preferred. 

     

  • Experience with Cardiac SPECT and PET is strongly preferred.

  • Graduate of a program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • Licensure in the state of NH required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certified required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS preferred.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).  

  • Full working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment and Radiation Physics.

You will work out of the Londonderry, New Hampshire office.
