Boiler Technician/Installer
Cardinal Heating & Air is seeking a skilled Boiler Technician/Installer to join our team in Kirkland, Washington. This role focuses on installing, servicing, and repairing boilers and related HVAC systems for residential and light commercial customers. You will work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of heating systems.
What you'll do
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair boilers and related HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and gas/water piping diagrams
- Perform startup, commissioning, and performance testing of systems
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, local codes, and industry standards
- Document work orders, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site; contribute to a positive team environment
- Collaborate with teammates to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
What we look for
- Experience with boilers; knowledge of gas-fired boiler systems is preferred
- HVAC certification or equivalent training; EPA certification is a plus
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform basic electrical/plumbing tasks
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and ongoing learning
