We’re looking for a Senior Product Researcher to join our expanding team at Capital.com. This role will focus on strategic, high-impact projects related to our new financial products, helping shape the future of integrated financial experiences.

You’ll lead end-to-end research across the product development lifecycle, from early discovery to concept testing and post-launch evaluation. Your insights will guide product strategy, design, and positioning, ensuring our solutions meet real customer needs and stand out in a rapidly evolving fintech landscape.

Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is highly desirable, as you’ll play a key role in helping the business understand complex customer relationships with money, including trading and investing propositions.

Responsabilities

  • Lead end-to-end product research: defining objectives, choosing methods, creating research plans and scripts, conducting studies, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
  • Conduct both generative and evaluative research studies across different markets (e.g. Middle East, Asia, Europe, etc..).In particular, conduct discovery research/ customer research to identify unmet needs and inform early-stage product strategy.
  • Run concept and usability testing, helping teams refine ideas and improve user experience.
  • Partner with Product and Design to shape new propositions and experiences, and to measure the success of new features/creative content.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into strategic narratives and recommendations that influence stakeholders across disciplines and seniority levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research partners to deliver high-quality, timely insights.
  • Make sure the user insights are embedded,actioned and prioritised in the Product roadmap.
  • Work closely with the Data Team to build an understanding of customer behaviour to measure the performance of our products.
  • Work with the Director of Research to create a user centric culture and embed the user voice in strategic planning and scoping sessions.
  • Proactively identify new product opportunities through user insights, and go beyond individual projects by actively engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across teams.
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product/UX research, ideally within fintech, banking, or a similar digital product environment.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end research — from scoping and method design to analysis and storytelling.
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods, and how to combine them for maximum impact (e.g. interviews, usability testing, diary studies, card sorting, surveys, and workshops)Able to triangulate product data.
  • Able to turn insights and unmet needs into actionable opportunities.
  • Experience working to strict deadlines and on different projects over a period of time.Understanding of user behaviour in financial contexts.
  • Experience in engaging with diverse markets.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Skilled at turning complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence strategy and product direction.
  • Comfortable working across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Curious, analytical, and collaborative — with a genuine passion for understanding people and shaping products that make finance more accessible.
