Role overview

As the Head of E-Money MENA (SVF), you will enable innovative products - including digital wallets, prepaid cards, P2P payments, and cross-border remittances - through Capital.com’s Store Value Facility (SVF) entity. This position carries regulatory responsibilities, including becoming a licensed director of our UAE-regulated entity. You will be accountable for the commercial success, compliance, and operational readiness of the business across MENA, working in close alignment with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Own and drive the e-money business strategy for MENA, in alignment with global priorities.
  • Product Oversight: Lead digital wallets, prepaid cards, P2P payments and remittance solutions across the region.
  • Market Advocacy: Represent Capital.com at events, regulatory forums, and client meetings to champion our e-money vision.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Maintain close relationships with CBUAE and secure all necessary licenses and approvals.
  • Growth Initiatives: Identify and pursue institutional partnerships, ecosystem collaborations, and new market opportunities.
  • Partner Engagement: Collaborate with fintechs, banks, and key players to scale and integrate Capital.com’s offerings.
  • Product Delivery: Oversee launches and ensure strong commercial performance of core e-money services.
  • Global Coordination: Act as a liaison between global digital asset teams and regional operations to maintain alignment.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: University degree and 10+ years in financial markets or a related field.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong expertise in CBUAE regulations and licensing processes.
  • Governance: Prior experience working with regulators and holding directorship responsibilities. CBUAE prior approval would be a strong advantage.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, complex business environments.
  • Integrity: High ethical standards, accountability, and professional integrity.
