We're looking for a Procurement Specialist who will support both tactical and operational procurement tasks for the client coming from the insurance sector.The consultant will handle RFQs, prepare sourcing documentation, coordinate with suppliers, and support administrative steps required for execution of new purchases and agreements.
SCOPE OF DUTIES
- Tactical Procurement Support:
- Preparation, launch and coordination of RFQs
- Collecting, validating and comparing offers
- Basic negotiation and commercial alignment with suppliers
- Preparing procurement inputs for approvals and for contract drafting (scope, pricing, terms)
- Supporting Buyers and stakeholders in shaping purchasing requirements
- Coordinating full purchasing cycle for smaller / medium procurement requests, including documentation preparation until handover for contract signing
- Operational Procurement Support:
- TPRM contract evaluations
- PR/PO related activities
- Cooperation Model:
- Working jointly with Procurement team members
- Escalating complex or high-value cases to Procurement Manager
- Supporting internal stakeholders on a day-to-day basis in line with Procurement Policy
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience & Skills:
- At least 2–4 years of experience in tactical procurement (buyer role)
- Ability to run RFQs independently (end-to-end at tactical level)
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to handle several requests simultaneously
- Experience in IT procurement – nice to have, not mandatory
- Tools:
- MS Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) – required
- Coupa or similar P2P system – nice to have
- Hybrid work
- Speaking English on daily basis, mainly in contact with foreign stakeholders and peers
