Location: Bangalore/ Pune

Experience: 9years+

As a Tech Lead at Capco, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and delivery of innovative technology solutions for our clients in the financial sector and beyond. You will operate at the intersection of technical expertise and team leadership, ensuring technical excellence while fostering talent development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

AsaCapcoTechLead,yourresponsibilitieswithinourclientdeliveryteamswillinclude:

• TechnicalLeadership:LeadandmentorateamofBackend(andpotentiallyFrontend)developers,ensuringtheimplementationofbestpracticesinsoftwareengineering(codereviews,pairprogramming,automatedtesting,CI/CD,etc.)withaconstantfocusonqualityandcontinuousimprovement.
• Hands-onContribution:Activelyparticipateinallstagesofdevelopment—fromdesignandsoftwarearchitecturetocoding,testing,anddeployment—toensuretherobustness,scalability,andperformanceofdeliveredsolutions.
• ExpertiseandCommunication:Effectivelycommunicateandexplaintechnicaldecisionswithclarityandpedagogytobothinternalteamsandclients,includingnon-technicalstakeholders,whiledemonstratingtheaddedvalueofproposedsolutions.

• ProfessionalExperienceYouholdadegreefromatopengineeringschoolandhaveatleast5yearsofexperienceasaTechLeadwithinatechcompany,abank,oraconsultingfirm.
• Youhaveastrongbackgroundintechnicalleadership,includingmanagingandguidingdevelopmentteams,definingtechnicalstandards,mentoring,andsupportingskilldevelopment.
• Youhavehands-onexperiencewithagiledelivery,havingworkedwithagileframeworkssuchasScrum,Kanban,orSAFeincomplexprojectenvironments.
• Youhavecontributedtocriticalprojectsinthefinancialsector(banking,insurance,assetmanagement)orinregulatedenvironments(aplus).
• TechnicalskillsBackendDevelopmentAdvancedproficiencyinJava,ideallywithexperienceonrecentversions(17+)andtheSpringecosystem(SpringBoot,SpringCore,SpringSecurity).
• ExcellentknowledgeofSpringDataandJPAforrelationalpersistencemanagement:object-relationalmapping(ORM),transactionhandling,andqueryoptimization(JPQL,CriteriaAPI).
• StrongexperienceindevelopingsecureRESTAPIs,includingauthenticationandauthorizationmechanisms(OAuth2,JWT).
• Knowledgeofadditionalmodernbackendlanguages(Kotlin,Node.js,Go,Python,C#...)isavaluableasset.
• DistributedArchitectureDesignExpertiseinmicroservicesarchitecture(functionaldecomposition,synchronous/asynchronousinter-servicecommunication,dependencymanagement).
• Experiencewithevent-drivenarchitecturesusingmessagebrokers(Kafka,RabbitMQ,etc.).
