onboarding marketing strategy recruiting ai team leadershipAbout Cantina Labs:
Cantina Labs is a social AI company, developing a suite of advanced real-time models that push the boundaries of expression, personality, and realism. We bring characters to life, transforming how people tell stories, connect, and create. We build and power ecosystems. Cantina, our flagship social AI platform, is just the beginning.
If you're excited about the potential AI has to shape human creativity and social interactions, join us in building the future.
About the Role:
Cantina is building the next evolution of creative expression where anyone can create characters and generate content powered by multimodal AI. We are establishing a new creator ecosystem and a scaled creator fund designed to bring thousands of creators onto the platform.
We’re hiring a Head of Creator Program to build this entire engine from the ground up. This includes designing the funnel that identifies, markets to, recruits, and onboards creators at scale. You’ll design the systems, processes, incentives, and team structure that bring creators to Cantina, support them in character creation, and help their content. This is a true zero-to-one role where you will shape how creators discover the platform, learn the medium, and succeed on it.
What You’ll Do:
Build and run Cantina’s Creator Program strategy, operating framework, and success metrics.
Recruit, hire, and lead a team of interest leads (category/vertical specialists) responsible for sourcing and supporting creators across many communities and niches.
Create and manage a high-volume creator acquisition funnel, ensuring a steady flow of new creators interested in creating characters and content are entering the platform.
Develop playbooks that teach creators how to use Cantina, create compelling characters, and generate content that drives views both within Cantina and on other social platforms.
Operate like a leader of a “creator sales team”—setting targets, driving accountability, and optimizing team performance.
What You’ll Bring:
5+ years in building and growing consumer-facing (ideally creator) programs or communities.
Proven history of building a program from zero to scale—ideally onboarding 1,000+ participants (e.g., ambassador programs from a few to hundreds+.).
Strong recruiting and team-building skills, including leading distributed teams.
A driver/operator mindset—hands-on, accountable, fast-moving, and experienced in running high-output teams.
Both systematic and strategic thinking in being able to comprehensively identify, prioritize, and develop bespoke marketing tactics for current and potential target creator audiences.
Deep intuition for social content and virality paired with a genuine interest in AI and emerging creative formats.
Location:
Los Angeles, CA preferred, followed by Brooklyn, NY and San Francisco, CA. We are open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., but proximity to one of our office hubs is a plus.
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $160,000-$240,000. This role will also be eligible for an annual bonus and equity package. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

42 days of paid time off, including:
15 PTO days
10 sick days
15 company holidays
