Role

Ubuntu Enablement Engineer at Canonical based in Taipei. You will work to deliver Ubuntu for Canonical's global PC partners such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo, ensuring Ubuntu runs flawlessly on their systems from entry-level PCs to high-end engineering workstations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OEM partners to enable Ubuntu on their hardware platforms.
  • Validate hardware compatibility across devices including laptops, desktops, and workstations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Partner Management) to resolve issues and improve hardware enablement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, test plans, and release readiness for Ubuntu-enabled systems.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and upstream reviews as appropriate.
