As a Software Engineer for Ubuntu Commercial Computers, you will contribute to software development, integration, and testing across Ubuntu-enabled hardware ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software features for Ubuntu Commercial Computers.
• Collaborate with OEM partners and internal engineering teams to integrate drivers, validate hardware compatibility, and ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Contribute to testing, validation, and release processes; help improve build pipelines and automation.
• Resolve complex software issues, provide robust technical solutions, and participate in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience with Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency in languages commonly used for system software (e.g., C/C++, Python).
• Experience with embedded systems, driver development, or hardware integration.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and effective communication.
