Canonical is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a technical team in operations and drive gitops automation for large-scale multi-cloud services that deliver Ubuntu and Canonical services, in partnership with product engineering.

Drive our innovation in the field of operations through technical team leadership and development, building and operating gitops automation for large-scale multi-cloud services that deliver Ubuntu and Canonical services, in partnership with product engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, including people management responsibilities.
- Build and operate gitops automation across large-scale multi-cloud environments.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of Canonical services and platforms.
- Collaborate with product engineering to drive innovation and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Experience leading technical teams (people management responsibilities).
- Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering, cloud computing, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps practices and automation tooling.
- Familiarity with Canonical's Ubuntu ecosystem is a plus.
Location: Remote (APAC). This is a home-based role across Asia-Pacific.
