Canonical is seeking a Senior Design Manager (Infrastructure) to lead the design of infrastructure products and platform services that power Ubuntu and Canonical's cloud offerings. This remote role for the EMEA region focuses on building scalable, accessible, and delightful infrastructure experiences.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of designers across infrastructure-focused products
- Set design strategy, craft flows, and maintain design systems
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and research to deliver high-impact outcomes
- Foster a user-centered culture and scale design across cross-functional teams
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and usability across platforms
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in design leadership/management (Director level or similar)
- Strong track record designing infrastructure or platform products
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management
- Experience with remote/global teams is a plus
