Role: Python Engineer - Data Center Hardware Integration (Taipei)

Role overview: As a Python Engineer in Canonical's Data Center Hardware Integration team in Taipei, you will own the day-to-day management and operation of our data centers and lab environments. This on-site role requires hands-on Python development to automate hardware integration tasks, maintain tooling, and collaborate with global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python tooling to manage hardware in data centers and labs.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of hardware components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver reliable hardware integration solutions.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvements of the data center environment.

Requirements

Strong Python programming experience.
Experience with hardware integration or data center operations is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in Taipei.
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Education: optional; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred but not required.
