Job Description
Canonical is seeking a Partner Sales Director to own, drive and grow our strategic Global System Integrator (GSI) alliance business. This remote, worldwide role focuses on building and scaling partnerships with leading GSI partners to expand Canonical's open-source software footprint.
Responsibilities
- Own, drive and grow our strategic GSI alliance business
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with Global System Integrators
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with GSI partners
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to accelerate partner-led initiatives
- Forecast revenue, manage pipelines, and achieve targets
- Represent Canonical in partner governance, enablement programs, and quarterly business reviews
Requirements
- Proven experience in partner sales, alliance management, or channel leadership with Global System Integrators
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate partner strategy into actionable plans
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort working in a remote setup and across time zones
- Experience in open-source software is a plus
