Overview

Canonical is seeking a Head of Talent Development to lead the global talent development strategy and shape the culture, leadership practices, and people capabilities across the company. This remote role (Home based - EMEA) partners with the executive team to design and implement leadership development programs, coaching and mentoring, learning initiatives, and succession planning.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and scale leadership development programs across our distributed organization.
Build coaching, mentoring, and development pathways for executives, managers and potential leaders.
Develop competency frameworks and performance management processes aligned with Canonical's goals.
Lead succession planning, talent reviews and career progression initiatives.
Collaborate with HR partners and cross-functional teams to embed talent development into people practices.

Requirements

Significant senior experience in Talent Development, Leadership Development or Organizational Development.
Strong strategic thinker with ability to operate in a fast-growing, distributed tech environment.
Proven track record of building scalable L&D programs and measuring impact.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience supporting remote or globally distributed teams.
