Job summary
Graduate Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Linux, PC, IoT at Canonical. This on-site role is based in Taipei, Taiwan. You will work as part of a world-class team to raise the global standard for Linux quality on Ubuntu-certified machines including PCs and IoT devices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and executing test plans for Linux-based software and hardware
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of Ubuntu based PCs and IoT devices
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Contribute to test automation efforts and improve QA processes
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Requirements
- Recent graduates or early-career QA enthusiasts welcome
- Interest in software quality assurance, Linux, and open source software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good collaboration and communication abilities
- Familiarity with Linux and Ubuntu; exposure to IoT or PC hardware is a plus
