Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Ceph & distributed storage engineering team
• Define the technical roadmap and architectural direction for Ceph-based storage initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, DevOps, product, and operations) to deliver scalable storage solutions
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate engineers; foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
• Oversee delivery of reliable, high-performance storage systems and ensure best practices in CI/CD and testing

Requirements

• Proven experience leading storage engineering teams, with a focus on distributed storage systems (Ceph experience is highly desirable)
• Strong background in Ceph and distributed storage architectures
• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, and storage technologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred
