Canonical is seeking an Alliances Field Engineer to support partners in architecting and implementing Ubuntu solutions. This remote, worldwide role focuses on a broad range of technologies including private and public cloud, edge computing, Kubernetes, storage, AI and MLOps from Canonical.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with channel partners and customers to design and implement Ubuntu-based solutions.
Maintain awareness of private and public cloud, edge, Kubernetes, storage, AI and MLOps within Canonical's ecosystem.
Work with sales, solutions architects and engineers to ensure successful deployments and outcomes.
Provide technical guidance, demonstrations, and field support to partners across multiple time zones.
Feedback product and engineering teams with field insights to improve offerings.

Requirements

Experience in field engineering, technical pre-sales, or partner-enabled solutions.
Strong knowledge of Ubuntu and Linux environments, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, storage, AI and MLOps.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work remotely across time zones.
