Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer III

📋 Description

• Design ductwork, piping and equipment for plumbing and fire protection.
• Supervise PM direction within mechanical discipline; monitor progress and budget.
• Prepare Revit/BIM models for plumbing, fire protection and HVAC.
• Edit specifications for existing or new projects.
• Independently research and respond to emergent issues.
• Specify boilers, chillers and air handling units.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specs and contract docs.
• Interface with clients; attend Owner/Architect/CA meetings; focus on budget.
• Respond to RFIs and review change orders during construction docs.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe progress.
• Coordinate work with project team; participate in business development and marketing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years related experience required.
• Current PE or FPE in the United States required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Working knowledge and experience; willingness to grow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple projects.
• Experience in Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus required.
