Own development of visible and infrared camera subsystems; create specs and ICDs.
Define test requirements, pass/fail criteria, and test strategies.
Define environmental qualification parameters (radiation testing and ESS).
Support subsystem/instrument testing (vibration, TVAC) and V&V.
Collaborate with instrument and spacecraft engineers, data scientists, AI&T, and program managers.
Improve best practices, processes, tools, and methodologies.

🎯 Requirements

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering; or equivalent experience.
5+ years in multidisciplinary imaging and infrared sensing.
Python and/or C++ software skills.
Experience with precision optical and mechanical metrology.
Root cause analysis via data analysis and testing.
Data analysis, post-processing, and test reporting for optics.
