About The Role

​​We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Resources Administrator to support our People operations on a temporary basis. This role will focus on strengthening processes, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting system administration within ADP WorkforceNow. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable balancing administrative tasks with process improvement initiatives.​

This is a remote, part time temporary role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the People Resources team with daily operations, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and ensure consistency.
  • Provide hands-on support in ADP WorkforceNow, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with People Resources team members to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency across platforms, including internal knowledge bases through SharePoint.
  • Assist in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.

  • What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 1–3 years of HR administrative or HR operations experience.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to document and improve processes, with prior SOP development experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.​

    Compensation

    CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The salary range for this role is

    $25 - $29.81 per hour. We determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to the job.
