Position Overview:

The VP of Business Development

is responsible for

driving

growth strategy

and delivering exceptional results for the business through

identifying

and coordinating the development of new business opportunities, overseeing our community

development

team,

and proactively devising and executing sales strategies. This position involves on-the-ground

engagement and partnership with our care teams to meet our business

objectives

.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute

    company

    sales strategy

    in partnership with leadership team

    .

  • Coach and manage regional and local business development teams; train the team on effective sales strategies through dedicated onboarding and ongoing education; conduct site-visits, ride-

    alongs

    , and provide feedback to teams to drive a culture of high performance.

  • Ensure teams achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, taking extreme ownership of team results.

     

  • Partner with operations and clinical leadership to 

    craft

    and advance

    company

    and

    local

    branch

    sales strategy and approach

    .

  • Dev

    ise

    monthly, quarterly, and annual plans to

    achieve and exceed budgeted goals for admissions, census, referrals, and revenue

    .

  • Utilize sales data from our CRM to proactively 

    identify

    opportunities in markets

    and cultivate relationships to build dependable referral sources

    .

  • Partner with 

    finance and people function to develop,

    execute, and track impactful team incentive and recognition programs

    .

  • E

    valuate

    the effectiveness of sales strategies, methods, costs, and

    results,

    adjusting strategies and methods for success

    .

  • Remain 

    complian

    t

    with federal and state regulations

    .

     

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 7

    + years of experience in sales and marketing with a focus in the healthcare services space; preferably hospice and palliative care.

  • 3+ years of senior management experience with proven success leading highly effective sales and marketing teams across multiple states and branches.

     

  • Entrepreneurial

    spirit, motivated to drive growth in a new organization

    .

  • Strong interpersonal skills, 

    expertise

    in sales training, and excellent time management capabilities.

  • Experience with 

    DeNovo

    and M&A

    growth

    in

    Hospice and Palliative care.

  • Familiarity with state and federal guidelines and regulations. 

  • Expert

    professional judgment and adept problem-solving skills. 

  • Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for providing compassionate care to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.

     

Cadre Hospice seeks to expand access to the hospice benefit, especially among underserved populations. In addition to traditional go-to-market channels, Cadre plans to partner with at-risk medical groups to integrate upstream and offer a comprehensive palliative care program to patients nearing end of life.
