Butternut Box is a fast-growing company delivering fresh dog meals. We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team in Worksop.

Job Overview

As a Machine Operator you will operate and monitor production equipment to support high-quality dog food production at Butternut Box. You will help maintain safe, efficient manufacturing processes and contribute to meeting daily output targets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging and production machinery
• Monitor equipment, adjust settings as required, and respond to faults
• Perform quality checks and document results
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety guidelines
• Keep accurate production records and report downtime or issues
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred)
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain safety in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail, teamwork, and communication
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Willingness to work shifts or flexible hours (if applicable)
