Businessolver is growing and is looking to add a Processing Specialist to our team.

Responsible for reviewing and processing various benefits-related documentation, including appeals, life events, and coverage elections. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements,

maintains

accurate

records, and provides thorough responses to inquiries. Manages enrollment processes, supports claim submissions, and collaborates with internal and external partners. Demonstrates accountability, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment while contributing to team operations and continuous improvement.

The Gig:

  • Review and accurately process complex documentation related to Appeals, Condolences, Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSO), Medicare L-564 forms, and Power of Attorney (POA) requests, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.

  • Analyze incoming documents to determine member eligibility for various health and benefit coverage options, applying policy guidelines and regulatory criteria.

  • Facilitate the end-to-end enrollment process, including processing elections, updating member records, and ensuring timely and accurate activation of coverage.

  • Respond to inquiries from members, internal teams, and external partners with professionalism and accuracy, documenting all interactions and resolutions in accordance with company standards.

  • Process life event changes such as marriage, birth, or loss of coverage, and updating member records accordingly. Apply subsidies and other benefit adjustments as needed.

  • Complete and submit life and disability insurance claim forms, ensuring all required information is accurate and submitted within required times.

  • Ensure all processes align with state and federal regulations, including IRS requirements, and support fulfillment of mandated notices and documentation.

  • Actively participate in daily team stand-ups, share updates, and contribute to a collaborative and informed team environment.

  • Proactively identify potential issues or risks in processes or documentation and apply critical thinking to develop effective, compliant solutions.

  • Take full responsibility for assigned tasks from initiation through resolution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

  • Follow established procedures and client-specific guidelines while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive personal and health information.

  • Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to work schedules in a high-performance, metric-driven environment.

  • Support other duties as assigned, contributing to team goals and organizational success with flexibility and an initiative-taking attitude.

What you need to make the cut:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years experience with COBRA Administration, Verification Services, Leave of Absence, Retiree Services, and Document Fulfillment
  • Keen attention to detail and high accuracy on processing information
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external partners
  • A thorough understanding and adherence to information confidentiality
  • Flexibility - on this team, we roll up our sleeves and help out where help is needed and ability to adapt to change
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products (especially Excel and Word) or similar productsand ability to use Windows and Internet web-browsing applications
  • Strong written and oral communications (email/phone)
  • Competitive, team player who strives for excellence
  • Proven customer service experience with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Benefit Administration experience / Life and Health license a plus

The pay range for this position is $14.00 to $22.00 per hour (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
