Buildkite is seeking a People Partner to join our People & Culture team based in the United States (West Coast). In this role you will partner with business leaders to drive people strategy, support the employee lifecycle, and help Buildkite grow a high-performing, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to align people plans with business goals
Advise managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation
Support recruitment processes and onboarding with the recruiting team
Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
Promote DEI initiatives and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Manage HR operations, process improvements, and HR policies
Use HRIS and people analytics to inform decisions and measure success
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

5+ years as a HR/People Partner or similar role, preferably in tech
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
Experience with HRIS, data analysis, and employee lifecycle management
Ability to influence across all levels and work in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
