THE ROLE:

This is a hybrid position. The Builder Prime Sales Team is located in the greater Denver metropolitan area. Team members come to the company workspace in Westminster, CO Tuesday - Thursday. You must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship (we are not able to sponsor visas at this time.)

The Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in spearheading our sales strategies and generating new business opportunities. The SDR will be focused on outbound prospecting and lead generation, engaging with prospects, cultivating relationships, and setting the stage for sales success. You will work alongside a small team of inbound and outbound SDRs to find potential ideal-fit customers for Builder Prime's all-in-one business software.

TRAINING WITH SV ACADEMY:

Looking to break into tech sales? Builder Prime partners with SV Academy to help aspiring sales professionals launch successful careers in tech through personalized coaching, expert training, and career-launching residencies.

This opportunity includes:

  • Two weeks of immersive sales training by SV Academy

  • Full-time, paid SDR Residency at Builder Prime (3 months)

  • Mentorship and coaching during residency

Note: During your first 3 months of employment with Builder Prime, you will be a 1099 contractor through SV Academy. You will receive fantastic tech sales training and mentorship from the SV Academy team, while working directly at Builder Prime. Questions? Email me at talent@builderprime.com.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A creative and analytical mindset, capable of navigating through various sales scenarios.

  • A passion for technology and innovation within the industry.

  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage priorities and maintain attention to detail.

  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and ascend within a sales organization.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM software.

  • Prior experience as an SDR with a track record of achieving sales quotas.

  • Knowledge or experience in SaaS and the construction industry.

Compensation and OTE: This role pays a base salary of $60,000/year and a $20,000/year variable (monthly commissions are based on sales qualified lead (SQL) targets), for total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $80,000.
