Build Reliability Engineer (Raptor Avionics)

📋 Description

• Partner with design, manufacturing, EEE, and supply chain to improve avionics reliability and establish repeatable process control.
• Investigate hardware failures in production/test/flight; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce risk and simplify designs for manufacturability.
• Monitor yield and quality metrics; drive corrective actions for products not meeting specs.
• Contain non-conforming product; guide technicians and engineers to quarantining and rework and implement corrective actions.
• Support Lean, autonomous production with standard rework/repair guides and optimized inspection and processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
• 1+ year in manufacturing, quality or design engineering (internships/co-ops qualify).
• 2+ years experience with electronic hardware.
• Data analysis experience in SQL or Python.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, and control plans.
