Build Engineer (Super Heavy Booster)

📋 Description

• Develop and test manufacturing processes to enable high-rate production
• Design and implement precision tooling to reduce assembly error and cycle time
• Automate processes to ensure repeatability on high-rate lines
• Collaborate with design teams to improve flight design via DFx
• Develop and automate in-situ inspection to increase yield
• Manage transition of parts from development to high-rate production

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
• 1+ years manufacturing and process design experience (internship OK)
• Hands-on experience with high-rate manufacturing lines
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly methods, testing, FMEA, troubleshooting
• Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, or structural systems
• Experience using SQL or data management structures to inform priorities
