We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Receptionist. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff.Key duties include supporting meetings, directing visitors, overseeing the kitchen, handling mail, maintaining records, and assisting with clerical tasks.

Why this Role is Important:

The Office Manager is crucial to an organization because they serve as the primary point of contact for office logistics, managing initial impressions, and handling various administrative tasks, ultimately impacting the efficiency and professionalism of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly orders for the office, kitchen, employees, keeping the areas stocked and prepared
  • Maintain kitchen including run dishwashers, fill water coolers, fill snacks, weekly groceries, etc
  • Coordinate with Scinto facilities as needed
  • Arrange catering orders
  • Oversee seating arrangements for staff
  • Oversee travel platform
  • Oversee housekeeping
  • Approve invoices
  • Participate in event planning
  • Badge oversight: activation/deactivation and support
  • Coordination with IT for separations and new hires and office equipment
  • Office Safety coordination
  • Conference room and hotel station coordination– including calendars and catering as needed
  • Manage guest badges, distributing/collecting and keeping record
  • Mail Management: Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and assist with sending out packages
  • Greet incoming guests, signing them in according to protocol
  • Other duties as needed

Location: Shelton, CT-P/T 24-30 hours-Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays-8 am-5pm/Monday or Friday remotely

Compensation

$23

$27 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
