We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Financial Reporting to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate across multiple departments to support the company’s strategic goals. Why this Role is Important:
The Accounting Manager I is integral to the organization's financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, operational support, risk management, and collaborative efforts across various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month-end close procedures, including the preparation of journal entries and financial statements for multiple entities.

  • Provide monthly statistical and financial reporting to company departments.

  • Manage and supervise accounting staff.

  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

  • Monitor cash flow schedules and assist in cash flow projections.

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.

  • Participate in preparation for external auditors, banks, insurance, and other third-party vendors.

  • Partner with other areas of Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and Legal on accounting and tax matters.

  • Perform other duties and assist in special projects as necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

  • High level of independent work ethic and integrity.

  • Public accounting experience (2–5 years) preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Accounting knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Ability to work with multiple entities within an organization.

  • Experience with proper procedures for month-end cut-off transactions and reconciliation of subledgers to the General Ledger.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; NetSuite experience preferred.

Location: Shelton, CT – Hybrid Schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on-site)

Compensation

$100,000

$120,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
