Banking Specialist at Brex

Brex is seeking a Banking Specialist in New York to support our growing fintech banking operations. In this role you will serve as a client-facing liaison, assisting with onboarding, banking documentation, KYC/AML checks, and ongoing banking support for Brex customers. This position is based in New York and reports to Brex's Sales teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary banking contact for assigned Brex customers
Assist with onboarding and required banking documentation
Coordinate with Brex banking partners to resolve onboarding and funding issues
Perform KYC/AML screening and other compliance checks as needed
Troubleshoot payments, cash flow, and banking-related inquiries
Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to customers
Identify opportunities to improve banking processes and customer experience

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, or fintech
Excellent communications and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Familiarity with KYC/AML processes is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
