We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Product Program Management team to contribute to the mission of empowering Braze to build a best-in-class product through operational excellence. As a hands-on program manager, you will support the Data and DevOps divisions to drive major product launches and other cross-department initiatives by working collaboratively with members of the Product Department, Engineering, and GTM teams at all levels. You will also drive continuous iteration of our various processes and operations to help us achieve more efficiency at scale. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Product Program Management team oversees a wide array of areas, and your daily responsibilities will span across our three core pillars:

  • Release Operations
    • Drive the Product Release checklist with the Product team and GTM partners; create a meticulous end-to-end project plan with deliverables, timelines, and dependencies for all teams involved. Track progress against goals and hold all parties accountable. Anticipate and remove any blockers to drive projects forward.
    • Communicate a clear, concise, and comprehensive project status with all stakeholders.
    • Continuously iterate release checklists and templates based on feedback and learnings.
  • Product Operations
    • Maintain and improve Product Feedback & Escalation Process.
    • Facilitate process improvements between the Product Department and GTM teams.
    • Improve tools and usage to help the Product Department make strategic decisions, including feedback management and analytics tools.
  • Business Operations
    • Support strategic annual planning process and monthly financial planning.
    • Support evolving the OKR processes.
    • Support strategic department-wide events (e.g. All Hands).

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of first-hand experience as a Product Program Manager or Technical Program Manager at a high-growth B2B technology company 
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Have a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical, have system-thinking skills, and excels in solving complex problems 
  • Detailed-oriented and can manage multiple/complex projects simultaneously, without missing a beat  
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Proven record for setting up & refining processes/systems
  • Proficient in general project management tools (e.g., Google sheet, Jira, Confluence) 
  • Experience program managing APIs or Data Products. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $140,000 and $160,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $160,000 and $180,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
