Stock Plan Analyst

Overview

Stock Plan Analyst at Box. This role administers Box's equity compensation programs, including stock options and RSUs, ensures compliance with tax and securities rules, and delivers accurate reporting to Finance, Legal, and People Ops. You will manage grant processes, vesting events, and data integrity across systems, support audits, and respond to employee inquiries about equity awards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Box's equity compensation programs (stock options and RSUs).
• Process grant cycles, vesting events, and related data updates across HRIS and payroll systems.
• Ensure 409A compliance, tax withholding, and generate required reports for auditors.
• Prepare regular reporting and dashboards for Finance, Legal, and People Ops.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and People Ops to resolve inquiries and ensure plan rules are properly implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 2-5 years of experience in equity compensation, finance, or HR operations.
• Experience with equity administration tools and data analysis (Excel; SQL preferred).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of 409A and US equity taxation preferred.
