Box is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help scale and mature its security program across products and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead security architecture reviews and threat modeling across products and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and operate security controls and tooling to reduce risk.
- Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to build secure systems throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead incident response and post-incident analysis; drive improved detection and response capabilities.
- Develop secure-by-default practices, runbooks, and developer enablement resources.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of security engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, cryptography, and network security.
- Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Location
Redwood City, CA (on-site).
