Solutions Architect (Box Consulting)

Overview

Box is seeking a Solutions Architect for Box Consulting to lead customer engagements, translating business goals into scalable Box-powered solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication to guide enterprise clients through adoption, integration, and optimization of Box platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and Box Consulting teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs on the Box Platform.
• Develop high-level and detailed architecture designs, integration plans, and migration strategies.
• Lead technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and hands-on integrations with Box APIs and security features.
• Collaborate with product, security, engineering, and services teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide presales support, scoping, and risk assessments for customer engagements.
• Mentor other engineers and consultants on best practices for Box deployments, data governance, and identity management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or equivalent customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Box Platform, Box APIs, and integration patterns.
• Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and security concepts (IAM, SAML/OAuth, encryption).
• Solid ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and articulate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills; ability to travel as needed.
