Overview
Box is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our IT Operations team in New York. You will deliver high-quality end-user IT support, manage hardware/software provisioning, and help ensure secure, reliable technology services for Box employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline IT support to Box employees, triage and resolve incidents and service requests via ticketing systems.
- Configure and deploy hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals) and software for new hires and equipment refreshes; manage asset inventory.
- Administer user accounts and access in Windows Active Directory and Azure AD; support email and collaboration tools.
- Maintain endpoint security and software deployment via SCCM/Intune/MDM; assist with patch management and compliance.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN access, printing, conferencing tools, and VOIP.
- Collaborate with IT Security and Infrastructure teams on incidents, changes, and projects.
- Document solutions, contribute to knowledge base articles, and support ITIL processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations (senior level).
- Strong proficiency with Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD; VPN and identity management.
- Experience with endpoint management and software deployment tools (SCCM, Intune/MDM).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk) and ITIL practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
