Partner Solutions Engineer at Box (Japan)

Overview

Box is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to join our team in Japan. This full-time role partners with Box's ecosystem to design, demonstrate, and implement integrated solutions that accelerate the adoption of Box products. You will serve as a technical liaison between Box customers, partners, and internal teams to scope integration requirements, drive successful deployments, and deliver scalable integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical relationships with Box partners in Japan and globally.
• Gather and translate partner requirements into practical solution designs and proof-of-concepts.
• Deliver technical enablement including demos, workshops, and joint go-to-market materials.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering to define integration capabilities, APIs, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures and best practices for Box integrations.
• Support field teams during presales and post-sales with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a partner engineering or solutions engineering role, ideally in cloud content management or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and developer tooling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SDKs (Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with SSO, SAML, and security/compliance considerations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English.
