Overview
Box is seeking an IT Support Engineer II in Austin, TX to deliver reliable end-user technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain a productive IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 IT support to employees, triage incidents, and manage tickets.
- Troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoints, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and software provisioning.
- Configure and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365, and collaboration tools.
- Manage VPN access, remote connectivity, and endpoint security guidelines.
- Collaborate with IT operations and facilities to plan equipment deployments and replacements.
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, email, and device management.
- Familiarity with VPNs, printer networking, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-service mindset.
- Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
