Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Box is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. This role partners with Box's Enterprise sales team to design and deliver scalable integrations using Box Platform, APIs, and security features to meet enterprise customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Sales to understand customer objectives and architect technical solutions using Box Platform and APIs.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with customers and define integration requirements.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and demonstrations to illustrate product capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feedback customer requirements and influence roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance on security, authentication (OAuth, SAML), and data governance.
• Deliver compelling technical content for RFPs and customer meetings.
• Help customers adopt Box at scale and ensure successful deployment in complex environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, field engineering, or a closely related role within enterprise software.
• Strong experience with Box Platform, REST APIs, and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML).
• Proficiency in cloud computing concepts and security models for enterprise deployments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate technical solutions to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support customers (post-pandemic norms).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
