Job Summary:

The Batcher prepares/blends/batches materials in batch tanks for production of products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform and accurately record product and raw materials inventory with a high attention to detail.

• Operate tanks that stir and mix various production materials

• Utilize pumps, filters, and scales throughout the blending process

• Verify the weight of raw materials before adding them

• Accurately complete labels and blend information sheets

• Take samples to QC for approval

• Ensure the safe transport and storage of materials.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience working in a food, dietary or pharmaceutical supplement manufacturing, or related manufacturing industry is strongly desired.

• Capable of lifting to 50 pounds

• Ability to drive a forklift or become forklift certified on site.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• One year of blending/machine operator experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform duties.
