CMM Operator at Boom Supersonic

Boom Supersonic is seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our Manufacturing team in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on precision measurement and quality control using coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to support aerospace part inspection and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM equipment for part inspection and first article inspections.
• Collect, analyze, and record measurement data; ensure traceability.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings; verify conformance with specifications.
• Calibrate CMMs and probes; perform routine maintenance.
• Verify measurement results with appropriate statistical methods; maintain calibration records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating CMMs in aerospace/manufacturing (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with GD&T and reading blueprints.
• Experience with CMM software and inspection programming is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or apprenticeship a plus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to typical workplace weights as needed.
