Bookkeeping Lead

📋 Description

• Ensure Pros receive world-class service through clear communication and explanations of their financial statements
• Engage Pros to gather docs, share updates, surface insights, and keep them informed monthly
• Partner with bookkeepers to keep work moving efficiently and ensure timely book completion
• Meet month-end deadlines, review, verify, and deliver reconciled books
• Answer client questions on financial data, errors, COA cleanup, sales tax, A/P/A/R issues, merchant services
• Foster excellent customer experiences with strong organization and communication for timely follow-ups

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years U.S. bookkeeping/accounting exp for SMBs
• Consolidation and prep of financial statements
• Month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, A/P and A/R
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent cert (QBO ProAdvisor)
• 1+ year leading or mentoring others
• Experience guiding clients; explaining financial data to non-accountants
• Experience using AI tools to increase quality and efficiency
