Maintain GL coding and chart-of-accounts discipline.
Perform monthly reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, payroll, inventory).
Support month-end close with schedules and variance explanations.
Code vendor bills, subcontractor invoices, and labor allocations to the correct job.
Track job costs to support gross margin visibility.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5+ years accounting experience (construction/trades preferred).
Working knowledge of GAAP fundamentals and clean close practices.
Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas).
Comfortable working in QuickBooks.
Experience with job costing, cost codes, and project-based accounting.
