Bobtail is seeking a Remote Risk Analyst - Factoring to join our team. In this remote role, you will assess and manage credit and operational risk for our factoring products, monitor client creditworthiness, build and maintain risk models, and support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Analyze credit risk and exposure across the factoring portfolio
Develop risk scoring models and monitoring dashboards
Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel, Python, or similar tools
Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to enhance risk controls
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies
Prepare clear reports for senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in risk analytics, credit risk, or related roles
Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R is a plus
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote environment
