Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Design, develop, and manage data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, primarily focusing on AWS S3 to Snowflake.

Implement and maintain data models and databases in Snowflake.

Utilize AWS tools (such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions) to optimize data processing workflows.

Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust monitoring and error-handling mechanisms.

Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Optimize and tune data processing jobs for performance and cost efficiency.

Develop and maintain data transformation processes using DBT (Data Build Tool).

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, Snowflake, AWS, and DBT.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

Experience in translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions within Snowflake.

Advanced knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake’s architecture, features, and capabilities.

Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and other AWS tools (such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions).

Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL-based transformations.

Experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
