Director of Fund Operations

Overview

Blockstream is seeking a Director of Fund Operations to lead treasury and fund operations in the San Francisco Bay Area. This executive role will oversee cash management, fund accounting, liquidity forecasting, and scalable processes as the company grows, ensuring robust controls and strategic alignment with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead treasury operations, cash management, liquidity forecasting, and fund accounting for Blockstream's funds.
• Develop and implement internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and scalable processes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing operations team; drive process improvements and automation.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial operations, treasury, or fund administration.
• Proven leadership skills with experience building and scaling teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in blockchain, fintech, or cryptocurrency industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
