Developer Advocate, Simplicity at Blockstream

We are seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to grow the ecosystem around Simplicity, Blockstream's expressive language for Bitcoin. This remote role is open to candidates in North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical content (docs, tutorials, sample code) to help developers build with Simplicity.
• Engage with the developer community, speak at conferences, and represent Blockstream at meetups.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather feedback, create tooling, and influence product direction.
• Contribute to open-source projects, samples, and demonstrations that showcase Simplicity capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in developer relations, community engagement, or technical evangelism.
• Experience with blockchain/cryptography concepts and programming languages; familiarity with Rust, C++, or functional languages is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Open-source contributions and a passion for education and documentation.
