Role Overview

We are seeking a Deputy MLRO in Singapore to lead our AML/CTF and financial crime compliance program. You will report to the Head of Compliance and work with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners to ensure adherence to applicable laws and industry standards for digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AML/CTF program, customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.
• Develop and maintain policies, risk assessments, and controls to mitigate financial crime risk.
• Lead regulatory examinations and act as primary point of contact for regulators.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to embed compliance by design.
• Manage the compliance team, provide coaching and training.
• Stay current with MAS and Singaporean regulatory developments; implement timely remediation.
• Assist with internal investigations and third-party due diligence as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AML/CTF and financial crime compliance within fintech, crypto, or regulated financial services.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and international AML/CFT standards; able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and policy development skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree; professional certifications (ACAMS, ICA) are a plus.
• Eligible to work in Singapore and willing to be based in Singapore.
