Overview
Block is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join our Sales & Account Management team in Stamford. You will drive the growth of Block’s customer base in the assigned territory, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
What you’ll do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the Stamford territory.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle for strategic accounts, including discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Build and execute a comprehensive territory plan with forecast accuracy.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
- Maintain and update CRM with all customer interactions and pipeline activities.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
What we look for
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS or software sales experience, preferably in a similar territory/account management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment; willingness to travel as needed.
