About Block

Block (Square) is seeking a Territory Account Executive for Ottawa. This role is open to remote work.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture relationships with key stakeholders, and close new accounts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to ensure customer success and renewals.
  • Hit or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and forecast.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS/tech and territory management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual USD salary range: approximately $74,000 – $134,000, depending on zone (Zone D to Zone A). Additional incentives may apply where available. Benefits and perks typical for a competitive tech sales role.

Location & Work Model

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Position can be remote with a preference for candidates in North America.
