Block is seeking a motivated Territory Account Executive to drive growth in the New York City area. This role is open to remote work and requires bilingual Spanish proficiency.
What you will do
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline within the NY territory, focusing on new business opportunities
- Build relationships with merchants and partners, understand their needs, and demonstrate Block solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success) to close deals and ensure customer success
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining accurate forecast data
- Travel as needed to meet with clients or attend events
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B software, payments, or SaaS sales experience
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and building long-term relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management
Nice to have
- Experience selling to SMBs and enterprise accounts
- Knowledge of Block/Square products and payments ecosystem
Compensation
Salary range (Zone A): USD 42,890 – USD 64,350 annually (rounded to USD 43k–64k). Compensation ranges may vary by region and experience.
